DEK'S TAE KWON DO SCHOOL, INC.
Master Dek understands many women want to learn Tae Kwon Do, but are apprehensive about attending classes with men. In particular, teenagers may feel self-conscious and uncomfortable training with adult men. This is understandable. In addition, the perception exists that Tae Kwon Do is a full-contact sport where opponents only want to "knock you out!" Women do not want to "get kicked around" or have to explain away bruises. Although this is not the case at Dek's Tae Kwon Do School, every newcomer still feels uncertainty.
In addition, many women want to learn martial arts, but want an emphasis on exercise and self-defense. The ultimate goal is the same - to achieve that Black Belt. Unfortunately there are few traditional martial arts schools that offer programs for women other than Tae-Bo or Kick Boxing - neither of which progress to Black Belt or teach effective self-defense techniques.
Master Dek has designed a curriculum for a "Women Only" class that features real Tae Kwon Do training while emphasizing the exercise and self-defense aspects. In addition, all classes are conducted in a "men-free" environment. That's right - women only! There is no more need to feel self-conscious or apprehensive. Get started on your Black Belt today!
