| UNIVERSAL TAE KWON DO ORGANIZATION The Universal Tae Kwon Do Organization (UTO) is a governing body for Traditional Tae Kwon Do Schools throughout the United States. All schools granted membership in the Universal Tae Kwon Do Organization adhere to stringent promotion standards designed to provide substance and credibility to the various ranks. A member in good standing can be assured their rank within one member school is equivalent to the same rank within another member school. The Universal Tae Kwon Do Organization holds all members to the same standards. Members are expected to be of high moral character and be upstanding representatives of their respective schools and of the Universal Tae Kwon Do Organization. This includes beginner students as well as advanced students. Camaraderie among students and schools is encouraged and expected. It is the mission of the Universal Tae Kwon Do Organization to continue the tradition of Tae Kwon Do and maintain its integrity as a martial art. By implementing strict promotion standards and supporting instructor development, students are ensured quality Tae Kwon Do instruction.
